Walking, Running and Biking

Walking Safely

The basic rule is to WALK or RUN AGAINST TRAFFIC and RIDE WITH TRAFFIC. When walking or running against traffic, you may see distracted drivers, a driver who is veering off the road or driving too close to you. You will also see bike riders (and maybe golf carts) safely driving toward you.

Whiskey Creek Drive does not include sidewalks, however, we are fortunate to have designated bike lanes on both sides of the road to enable people to walk, run and bike safely.  Stay safe and share this information with new members of our community or tactfully with those who may not be aware of the basic rule for staying safe when walking, running or biking on Whiskey Creek Drive.
